The Samahang Pilipino, USA (SAPI) was formed
in 1997 to unite the Filipino community in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Today, SAPI has grown into a large, closely-knit
group with 200 members from our home state, and the surrounding states of Virginia, Georgia and some from as far
as Florida.
SAPI actively participates in community outreach
activities and in cultural and social events to promulgate the Filipino culture and share our historically rich traditions
among the members of the community.
As Filipino-Americans we believe that it is
our obligation to impart our Filipino heritage among our children and stimulate their awareness of its enduring qualities
and its importance to their over all well-being.
